Spring is here

Spring is here and I just wanted you to know that your daddy and I went to court to fight for the right to see you and get your child support legally started. Unfortunately this was in vain, your mother did not show up. Last time we heard from her she was in Douglasville Ga going to a party her friends were having for her 19th birthday. I asked her to bring you by and she agreed but never showed. I know that she is young and does not realize the damage she is doing at this time but as a mother I hope she is taking wonderful care of you. You truly deserve the best and we only want to hold, love and nurture you along the way of your life. My doctors are giving me less hope as the days go by for my recovery. I was turned down by the doctors in new Orleans because my liver enzymes are too high. I have an appointment on April 29th to find out if my chemo treatments are working. I started physical therapy this week and have to go three times a week, my bones are really aching now and I have a (spider cyst), I do not know the technical name for it on my T5 vertibre causing me even more pain. You have a new relative now, my brother Michael and his wife Jennifer had a daughter on February 28th named Cinnamon Candy Clemens she weighed in at 9 lbs. 4 oz. and was 21 inches long. She is cute and has lots of dark brown hair, she looks like her dad and mom, she got the best of all their features just like you did!
I wanted to let you know that even though you are not close you will never be forgotten or less loved by everyone in our family. My father's first wife ran off with their first son when she was young and we could not locate him until he was 35 yrs. old. I promise you it will not take me that long to hold you in my arms again. The sorrow I see in your fathers eyes when he speaks of you hurts me more everyday. He loves you and misses you so much. At this stage in you young life you should be learning to crawl and really having fun, we have toys for you that might never be played with while I'm alive. I hope your mother comes to her senses and realizes the pain she is causing. I pray for her and you everynight and look forward to seeing you soon little man. I love you, Granny Smith
